Characters:
Officer Jimmy Joe: African American, married, age 44. He's happy in
his position and doesn't
plan to advance any further. The most human of the bunch, he's become
the father figure.
They all seek him out when in need of comfort, considering that most of them
are either
having problems with their families, or are just separated from them. He's
generally gruff,
but he loves his "kids."
Michael Lee AKA Mike: Asian American, single but with a lover, age 30.
Loves to eat, which is
why he's going on strongly with his lover Polly, who is an owner of a small
restaurant, foul mouthed,
and a martial artist. Partners up with Stacey, has three brothers,
two identical, one younger. Father
was killed, mother went back to Japan. He's extremely protective of the younger
detectives, only
because he was their savior a couple times when they were still teenages.
Of course... he'd never
admit to that. His strength is just that, strength.
Stacey McDonald: Mexican American, engaged, age 29. Also a martial
artist, but not as well trained
as Mike. Motherly to the younger ones, but a bitch to all who end up
on her shit list, she's a no
nonsense type of lady. Her greatest strength lies in that women's instinct.
She's sensitive and in tune
with those closest to her.
Roberto Quintanar: Mexican American, single, age 24/25 (to be explained in
a future storyline) Usually
quiet, he gets really loud with Gary, his partner on the job. He's
the one that I love to torment. He
has powers that he'd rather not have. He has the power of seduction,
and hasn't quite mastered it
enough to control it. Sadly, it attracts the most unsavory of characters,
and often leaves him with a
broken heart. It becomes physical energy, in the form of fire, when
Gary is providing support.
C. Gary Graham: Caucasian, recently married, age 23. Claims to hate
homosexuals, thus the constant antagonizing of Roberto, he now seems to have
some issues. He has a latent power of seduction, which boosts
Roberto's powers when he's close by and focusing on him. The most moody
of the group, but he strives
to do the best in his work.
Christina G. Graham: Caucasian, single, age 23, fraternal twin of Gary. Loves
men, bubbly in nature, sometimes
she is too much to handle. Her childlike behavior also serves a purpose as
she helps boosts Jack's power. She loves flirting with Roberto just
to see him all flustered, and her brother in a snit, but is unwilling to
settle down
with anyone at the moment.
Jackson Luxer, Jr. AKA Jack: Caucasian, single, age 23. Extremely
intelligent, his childlike behavior undermines
that fact which leads others to underestimating him. Like a child,
he can sense danger most of the times, although,
again, like a child, can sometimes be way too trusting. When in extreme
danger, and in the presence of Christina,
he can let out a brilliant white ray of light than can dissolve most malignant
shields, barriers, and mid level
creatures of black magic. |
